01 · Safer Communities

Every Maryland Family Deserves to Feel Safe

Public safety is one of government's most basic responsibilities. Maryland needs policies that support law enforcement and first responders, protect victims, address juvenile crime, and hold violent and repeat offenders accountable. We believe in giving law enforcement the tools and support necessary to do their jobs while ensuring our criminal justice system puts the safety of Maryland families first.

We will:

Support law enforcement, firefighters, EMS personnel, and other first responders.
Hold violent and repeat offenders accountable.
Strengthen Maryland's response to juvenile crime.
Stand with victims of crime and their families.
Improve recruitment and retention of law enforcement officers.
Promote cooperation among state, local, and federal law enforcement agencies to keep dangerous criminals off our streets.

02 · Affordability & Energy

Make Maryland Affordable Again

Families shouldn't have to leave Maryland because they can no longer afford to live here. Taxes, fees, housing costs, groceries, energy bills, and everyday expenses are putting increasing pressure on household budgets. At the same time, Maryland needs an energy policy that prioritizes affordability and reliability for families and businesses. Government should make it easier — not harder — to live, work, raise a family, run a business, and retire in Maryland.

We will:

Oppose unnecessary tax and fee increases.
Fight rising electricity and utility costs.
Support reliable, affordable energy and a stronger electric grid.
Demand responsible state budgets and control government spending.
Identify and eliminate wasteful spending.
Protect retirees, working families, and small businesses from policies that increase the cost of living.
Support responsible housing policies that expand opportunity while respecting existing communities.

03 · Stronger Schools

Put Students, Parents & Teachers First

Every Maryland child deserves an excellent education regardless of where they live. Our schools should focus on academic achievement, safe classrooms, excellent teachers, parental involvement, and preparing students for success after graduation. Parents deserve transparency and a meaningful voice in their children's education, while taxpayers deserve accountability for the billions of dollars Maryland invests in its schools.

We will:

Prioritize strong instruction in reading, mathematics, science, civics, and other core subjects.
Give parents a meaningful voice and greater transparency in their children's education.
Support educational choices that allow families to find the best learning environment for their children.
Keep schools and classrooms safe and orderly.
Expand career and technical education, apprenticeships, and pathways into the skilled trades.
Direct education resources toward teachers, classrooms, and student achievement.
Demand accountability for both educational outcomes and taxpayer spending.

Government Should Answer to the People

Marylanders deserve a government that is transparent, responsible, and accountable. Taxpayer dollars should be treated with respect. Government agencies should be expected to deliver results. Decisions affecting millions of Marylanders should be made openly — not behind closed doors. And the rules should apply equally to everyone, including the people who write them.

We will:

Strengthen transparency in state and local government.
Expand independent oversight and inspector-general accountability.
Hold government agencies accountable for failures and poor performance.
Protect taxpayers from waste, fraud, and abuse.
Protect whistleblowers who expose wrongdoing.
Oppose political favoritism and backroom decision-making.
Protect the integrity of Maryland's elections and ensure election laws are followed.

05 · Jobs, Small Business & Opportunity

Make Maryland a Place Where Businesses Can Grow

Small businesses create jobs, strengthen communities, and provide opportunity to Maryland families. But too often, Maryland makes it harder to start, operate, and grow a business through high costs, excessive regulations, and policies that put our state at a competitive disadvantage. We want Maryland to be a state where entrepreneurs invest, employers grow, workers succeed, and young people can build their futures.

We will:

Support entrepreneurs, small businesses, and family-owned businesses.
Reduce unnecessary regulations and barriers to growth.
Encourage private investment and good-paying jobs.
Expand workforce development, apprenticeships, and career training.
Make Maryland more competitive with neighboring states.
Invest responsibly in the transportation, energy, and digital infrastructure businesses need to succeed.

06 · Strong Communities & Quality of Life

Protect What Makes Maryland Home

Maryland is more than its government. It's our neighborhoods, farms, waterways, parks, Main Streets, volunteer organizations, and local communities. Growth and investment are important, but they should strengthen communities, not overwhelm them. Infrastructure needs to keep pace with development, and residents deserve a meaningful voice in decisions that affect where they live.

We will:

Invest responsibly in roads, bridges, transportation, water, and other essential infrastructure.
Fight unchecked overdevelopment that overwhelms roads, schools, and local services.
Support agriculture and protect Maryland's farms and rural communities.
Preserve parks, open space, waterways, and natural resources.
Support volunteer fire and EMS companies and other community institutions.
Strengthen essential local services.
Demand transparency and accountability for major state projects and taxpayer-funded investments.
